My name is Marit Fischer and I am the heart of Fischer House Consulting.

The original Fischer House is my family’s historic home, a place where I lived that now lives in me. There is an antique streetlight on the patio behind that special house. To me, it is a beacon. It lights up the dark and shows right where home is. This is the spirit of my work.

Fischer House Consulting is a metaphorical place, a place to pause, reflect, and identify where and who you are. I am here to listen and to offer clarity, calm, and perspective in moments that feel crowded or uncertain. Together, we share ideas, engage in honest conversation, and disempower challenges by identifying strengths, priorities, and boundaries. All this will help you understand who you are, where you are, and how to move forward strategically.

  • I am not your average business consultant. Not only do I have 30+ years of business experience, I also have been a personal therapist for more than a decade. Our work together begins with conversation. I do not subscribe to any one approach or system. I meet people where they are, without judgement, and we go from there.

    Unlike other consultants or service providers, I do not market, nor do I actively seek engagements. People come to me when someone recommends me, or when they do a web search for the very specific work that I do.

    Another difference is that, without exception, I fully respect client confidentiality. Our work together is something you may share if you’d like. I will not. Your journey is your story to tell, not mine.

    I am not in this for me. I do this to help others do their own brand of good in this world.
